Compost Education Show
The Peterborough Ecology Park, in conjunction with the Paddling Puppeteers is pleased to present this puppet show all about waste reduction through composting. Meet your host “Herman the Worm” as he walks you, or wiggles you, through the compost puppet show. He also will impress with his famous “rot and roll” hit “What's in the Compost.” Other stars in the show include “Waltzing Matilda the Millipede,” “Sully the Sow Bug,” the bacteria puppets and other colourful characters.
By the end of the show the audience will come to know the magical process of how fruits and vegetable cuttings and other organic matter (that goes in the compost) turns into beautiful rich soil for the garden. Just think without the help of Herman and his friend there would be no soil at all!
